Closet design and installation process overview

When you work with Inspired Closets, we’ll take you through each step of the design process so that you know exactly what to expect. During your free consultation, your designer will ask you about your current space, how you use it, what works and what doesn’t work in its current design, and what interior design trends inspire you. We will take measurements of your space and inventory your belongings so that we know exactly how much space you currently use. And then we’ll explain how we take that information and create your unique design.

Can I make changes to my closet design?

Yes, you can! Designing a closet is a process and we want to make sure that the final design is one that you’ll love for years to come. This is why we use propriety software that allows you to compare different designs with the click of a button. Wondering if you have enough drawers in your design? Swapping out a few shelves and replacing them with drawers is an easy change. Want to see an entire section change from long hang to double hang? Again, our design software makes it fast and easy to see the impact of that change.

Likewise, if you want to see the same design in different colors, your designer can make real-time changes that will show you what different colors look like on the same design. Or maybe you want to see Shaker door and drawer profiles added to a section. Our design tool allows us to quickly and easily show you those changes. Thanks to our design software, there is no “back to the drawing board” discussion or downtime spent rendering. Our design tool was built to answer your questions in a “no fuss” way. The software allows us to pair down or build up a design in ways that meet your needs, wants, and budget – and it happens in real-time. In addition, your designer will have samples of material and hardware for you to review, and a visit to our showroom will help you visualize the transformation to come even more.
