Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their storage needs, aesthetic preferences, and functional requirements
• Conduct on-site visits or consultations to measure spaces and assess existing layouts
• Create custom closet designs using specialized software to visualize concepts and propose solutions
• Present design proposals to clients, incorporating feedback and making adjustments as needed
• Select materials, finishes, and accessories that align with client preferences and budget constraints
• Work closely with production and installation teams to ensure designs are executed accurately and according to client expectations
• Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and design innovations to continuously improve design offerings
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including measurements, specifications, and communication logs

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Closet Designer or a similar role in the interior design or home improvement industries
• Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of space planning, layout principles, and interior design concepts
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen to client needs and translate them into creative design solutions
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field is preferred
• Portfolio showcasing previous closet design projects is a plus
