Robert Allen

I discovered my interest in design while making custom furniture with my friend and mentor, Russ Timm. After serving eight years in the military, I came home to the Charleston/Tri-County area to pursue my career in custom closet design. I reconnected with Russ and through mutual respect and friendship, I was honored to have the opportunity to purchase his Charleston business and carry forward that custom closet legacy. Fast forward to today and we are proud to be Charleston/Tri-County area's custom closet provider of choice, and we are beyond excited to now service the Charlotte area, too. We’re glad you are here, and we hope to see you in our Inspired Closets Charlotte showroom soon!

Nicole Whray

Project Coordinator & Office Manager

Nicole has ten years of experience in management and administrative roles. She welcomed the opportunity to join the family business and work alongside her cousins and owners of Inspired Closets, Robert and Mary Allen. Nicole has a keen eye for detail and a passion for organization. She plays a pivotal role at Inspired Closets Charlotte as our dedicated Project Coordinator and Office Manager, ensuring that every client's journey is seamless and efficient.

When asked, "What inspires you?" Nicole tells us, “There's nothing more rewarding than seeing the smile on a client's face when they see their newly organized and beautiful closet. Knowing that our work has significantly improved their organization, efficiency, and overall happiness is incredibly inspiring.” When she isn't helping clients achieve their goals, Nicole immerses herself in books and is always eager to explore different perspectives and ideas. She also finds joy in hosting loved ones. Creating warm and welcoming spaces for these occasions is a natural extension of her passion for creating functional and inviting environments.
