"Inspired Closets Indianapolis, previously Hoosier Closets, has been serving Central Indiana for over 20 years. Lyndie and I have always dreamed of owning and operating a local business together, and after decades of separate careers in business, we were finally given the opportunity. We are so grateful for the amazing team of people we work with, and we are inspired by their commitment to serve our customers well. It's their level of professionalism and expertise that has gotten us to where we are today, and the reason that customers keep coming back to us for more projects!
We're inspired by two things: new relationships and new ideas. Every new customer and every new team member that comes our way is an opportunity for both things to happen. We love meeting new people who have different ideas and can help take us to places we've never been before. We always say, 'Build it like it's your own'. It's our version of the Golden Rule. This starts with design and continues all the way through installation. Customers never have to worry about us 'going through the motions', or 'cutting corners'. We approach each project like it’s our own house, taking extreme ownership, which results in a higher level of care than you'll find anywhere else."

Macie Chaffee
Showroom Manager / Design Consultant
Macie has always had a knack and a love for all things in the creative and design spaces. While working on her degree in supply chain management with a minor in interior design at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, Macie was on our team as an intern. After she graduated in 2023, a position opened up and she jumped at the opportunity to join us full time! Macie loves what she does at Inspired Closets because she gets to use both sides of her brain—logic and creativity.
When asked, “What inspires you?” Macie shares that she’s inspired by getting to know her clients and turning their ideas into reality. Macie comes from a large immediate family, and our owners are actually her sister and brother-in-law! With two sisters, a brother, two nieces, and three nephews, there’s never a dull moment when they all get together. In her free time, Macie enjoys spending time with her friends and family, doing anything artsy or crafty, and reading.
Jessica Greenshner
Lead Designer
Jessica has always had an interest in and an eye for home design. With a degree in business and marketing as well as a minor in interior design, Jessica has spent many years blogging about DIY/design improvements in her own house. This passion eventually led her to design for clients. In her role at Inspired Closets, Jessica likes being able to understand a client's needs and vision at the initial design consultation and then providing an exceptional end result.
When asked, “What inspires you?” Jessica tells us she’s inspired by bringing organization and function to our clients’ busy lifestyles. Outside of work, Jessica travels with her husband and two boys and cheers her kids on at their sporting events. Their family also has two retired racing greyhounds, River and Slinger, and Jessica likes to spend her time volunteering with a local greyhound adoption group. She also enjoys a relaxing dinner with friends and going for a hike.

Ryan Orban
General Manager
Before transitioning to the custom closet industry, Ryan worked as a restaurant and catering manager for almost 10 years. He oversaw all aspects of food service, from managing daily operations in a café to organizing catering for corporate conferences, private events, and extravagant weddings. This is where Ryan learned to love creating personalized experiences and ensuring every client’s vision comes to life. As the General Manager of Inspired Closets Indianapolis, Ryan loves meeting fascinating people from our community and helping them tackle their organization goals, all while creating stylish and functional spaces that are as fun to design as they are to use. It's the perfect mix of connection, creativity, and a little bit of magic.
When asked, “What inspires you?” Ryan shares that he’s inspired by the opportunity to make a real impact every day. Whether it’s empowering the team, solving complex challenges, or continuously improving systems to keep things running smoothly, the variety and purpose in his role keeps him energized and motivated. Plus, seeing the results of his work in action and knowing he’s made things better for others is incredibly rewarding. Ryan is a fishing fanatic who looks forward to his annual off-the-grid trip to Canada, where he loves reeling in walleye and pike. When he’s not fishing, there’s nothing Ryan enjoys more than watching his kids in action on the field or court—it’s the best kind of entertainment!

Heath Chappell
Installer
Heath has years of experience in construction as a framing carpenter, remodeler, superintendent, and various other jobs in the industry. At Inspired Closets, he is known to share his experience and expertise with the younger generation. Heath loves seeing his work come to life, and his favorite part of the process is the fine finish work.
When asked, “What inspires you?” Heath tells us he’s inspired by seeing homeowners smile. He’s motivated by giving them the instant gratification of a job that is done quickly and well. When he’s not working, Heath loves to ride dirt bikes and ATVs in the woods and hills of Southern Indiana, enjoying the outdoors, breathing in the fresh air, and having fun.
Brad Holladay

Brad is a talented carpenter and a Jack of all trades. He wanted to expand his portfolio, so he joined our team to get the opportunity to build new things. Being able to make people’s days in the process has been an added bonus.
When asked, “What inspires you?” Brad shares that he’s inspired by the ability to perfect his craft. As a girl dad with an Australian shepherd and a mysterious black cat, Brad appreciates that his role gives him the flexibility to spend time with his family and do other things he enjoys, like traveling, hiking, and fishing.
Zach Brewer

Zach has always loved working with his hands. After working in outdoor construction and on deck/pergola installations, he found his way to closets and has been in the industry ever since. In his role at Inspired Closets, Zach enjoys being able to build something new every day, solving problems, and taking care of his customers, ensuring each project is brought to a successful completion.
When asked, “What inspires you?” Zach tells us he’s inspired by taking care of his wife and three young daughters, as well as being able to make customers say, “Wow!” as the space they envisioned comes to life. Outside of work, Zach loves spending time with his kids, playing videos games, doing puzzles, and assembling 3D models.
Nolan Ringler

Nolan joins Inspired Closets with experience in home remodeling and tackling full home renovations, balancing the many tasks that make it happen. In his current role, he loves that our work gives him the ability to make people happy each and every day.
When asked, “What inspires you?” Nolan tells us that he is inspired by his hardworking family, who taught him that things are earned and not given, and making them proud. He is also inspired by being the best version of himself every day. When he’s not working, Nolan is a frequent hiker who also enjoys watching and playing sports.
