Senior Design Consultant

Tara has lived in the Kansas City area most of her life and is excited to bring her energy and creativity to Inspired Closets. She prioritizes getting to know each of her clients’ unique needs and vision for their space, ultimately creating a beautiful and functional solution that will serve them for years to come.

When asked, “What inspires you?” Tara tells us that she believes an organized space can truly impact your day-to-day life. When she is not working, you can find Tara crafting, cooking, and spending time with her husband and two boys. They all enjoy attending sporting events and going on walks with their adorable Cavapoo, Lucy.

Lisa Shackelford

Design Consultant

Lisa Shackelford brings nearly three decades of experience in marketing, business development, and sales in the KC metro area to her position at Inspired Closets Kansas City. Her background spans Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industries, where she honed her strategic planning, client acquisition, and relationship-building skills. Now, as a Designer with Inspired Closets Kansas City, Lisa blends her passion for interior design and organization by helping our clients create beautifully functional spaces. She thrives on transforming cluttered areas into orderly, stylish environments tailored to each client’s unique needs.

When asked, “What inspires you?” Lisa shares that she’s inspired by people who go above and beyond, especially when faced with adversity. She believes a little extra effort can make a huge difference! Lisa has three incredible children and a house full of pets. She's all about embracing life with enthusiasm and making the most of every moment! When not at work, Lisa enjoys cheering at her youngest son’s sports events, traveling, reading, and hitting the gym.

Project Coordinator

Meet Creighton, our awesome Project Coordinator who brings a wealth of experience in home remodeling to his role. His daily tasks include ensuring your project runs smoothly, from getting your home’s measurements to coordinating installations and addressing customer questions. With a knack for organization and an eye for functionality, Creighton ensures every project is a total success for our clients.

When asked, “What inspires you?” Creighton shares that, growing up in a tight-knit, organized family, he learned the importance of structure early on and brings that same attention to detail to his work. He’s inspired by doing his best to make sure every job is done right the first time. Outside of work, you'll find Creighton camping, fishing, and cheering on his talented son at sporting events.

Erin Dredge

Office Manager

Erin Dredge, our Office Manager at Inspired Closets Kansas City, is a key part of our day-to-day operations. Her role encompasses administrative support, financial duties, project coordination, and safety compliance to ensure a productive and efficient work environment. Erin finds joy in witnessing the transformation of our projects, from the initial consultation to the final installation, that elevates our clients’ daily lives.

When asked, “What inspires you?” Erin tells us that, as a passionate problem solver, she’s inspired by learning new things and applying creative solutions to every challenge that comes her way. Erin is an avid reader and enjoys exploring Kansas City with her husband and their two dogs, Peanut and Napoleon. She values the supportive community around her and embraces the opportunity to grow with Inspired Closets Kansas City.

Sam Terry

Installer

Sam is one of our handy installers here at Inspired Closets Kansas City. His carpentry and woodworking skills have been honed for over 20 years, starting in his teens. Sam enjoys using his experience to transform homes in the Kansas City community into organized sanctuaries, bringing our customers’ visions to life.

When asked, “What inspires you?” Sam shares that he finds inspiration daily during installations as he builds custom closets, garage systems, pantries, and more that can positively impact the lifestyles of others. There are many moments when Sam feels that his work fulfills his passions. Outside of his work, you'll find Sam enjoying quality family time with his wife and three kids. He loves staying active through exercise and shooting hoops around KC.
