Steve and Julie Kenney
Steve and Julie Kenney have been active in the home building community in the Mobile area since they launched their custom home building company in 1991. In 2007, they launched Custom Closets by Kenney-Moise, Inc. to offer their experience in custom design, client collaboration, and attention to detail to organizing all areas of the home.
Serving Mobile and Baldwin Counties and surrounding areas, we specialize in making sure that our clients love their “new” spaces! Our 1600 square foot showroom offers the latest in design ideas, creating an environment where the Inspired Closets team can work together with you to create a space that is perfect for your needs.

Julie Kenney
Owner and Designer
Julie’s passion is creating functional and beautiful spaces that her clients will enjoy on a daily basis. Her love of design and her past experience as a custom homebuilder bring a level of expertise to each project, while she also works to make sure each space is personalized to the decor of the home and the client’s needs.
When asked, “What inspires you?” Julie now begins her answer with, “Being a grandmother!” She enjoys helping her own family and others lead organized lives so they have less stress and more time to enjoy the fun things in life. Julie enjoys decorating, reading, riding her bike, art, and traveling with her husband and business partner, Steve.

Steve is active in all aspects of Inspired Closets Mobile. From financials to forklifts, Steve loves to do it all. With years of experience in residential construction, Steve brings his knowledge and expertise to each area of our business. He enjoys working with the wonderful team here and meeting amazing clients!
When asked, "What inspires you?” Steve tells us that he strives to do something good every day in his personal and professional life. Outside of work, he and his wife, Julie, love spending time with their ever-growing family of grown sons, wives, and now grandchildren. Steve also enjoys cycling, reading, hiking, camping, and spending time at Dauphin Island.
Bethany Cranton
Designer Since 2019
As an organized person who loves designing and creating functional spaces, Inspired Closets is a natural fit for Bathany. She likes the challenge of listening to each person's needs and creating a beautiful solution for every client that is unique to them.
When asked, “What inspires you?” Bethany says that she is inspired by finding joy and beauty in the small things in life. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Bethany has been renovating a home and enjoys being involved in the creative process of designing a space that makes her feel happy and relaxed. Needless to say, her Inspired closet is a favorite feature!
Scarlett Watson
Designer - Baldwin County
As a Baldwin County native, Scarlett enjoys working within her community to help bring organized spaces to life by getting to know her clients and their needs. Using her creativity and her customer service experience, Scarlett sees daily how her work is changing the lives of her clients.
When asked, “What inspires you?” Scarlett says that she is inspired by her supportive and encouraging family and work family, and of course by a beautifully designed space. Outside of work she enjoys organizing, decorating, playing with her kids, and playing BUNCO with friends.

Jace
Lead Installer
As our lead installer, Jace is responsible for all aspects of making sure your new closet is built and installed in an efficient and careful manner. He and his team take pride in both the finished product and in making sure everything goes smoothly while in your home. He is constantly searching for new ways to improve the installation process and make your experience with Inspired Closets even better.
When asked “What inspires you?” Jace tells us that he enjoys seeing the final product come together and witnessing clients’ reactions to their new closet. In his spare time, Jace loves to do anything sports-related. He was also a Boy Scout where he earned the highest rank of Eagle Scout.
