Designer/Salesperson

Inspired Closets is seeking applicants to fill Designer/Sales positions in our Roseville Ca. location. We are an industry leader in the design, manufacturing and installation of custom closets, home offices, Murphy Beds and garage cabinets, and are looking for qualified persons to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Guide customers through every step, from in-home design consultation to the final sale.
• Assess customers’ needs by listening to and communicating information to our customers to help them understand how Inspired Closets can help them with their organizing goals.
• Communicate effectively with customers and business associates.
• Complete all required tasks to facilitate the sale and delivery of final product to the customer.

Qualifications:

• A valid California Driver’s License
• Reliable transportation
• Reliable way to be contacted
• Sales and customer service experience, preferably in Interior Design, Space Planning or Home Improvement.
• Excellent listening skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of basic computer software programs, and/or previous experience with CAD software.
• Self-starter and self-motivated to succeed. Your energy is behind your money!

• 1-2 yrs Closet or Cabinetry experience preferred.
• Valid California driver’s license

Position Description:

• Assist with the manufacturing, loading/unloading, site prep, installation and detail of product at both the shop and on job sites.
• Ability to communicate professionally with fellow employees and customers.
• Lift 25-100 lbs. regularly
• Assist in other dept’s of the shop or job site.

Installation Manager

Responsible For: Efficient management of time, material and personnel in order to complete all jobs within company expectations, with a special emphasis on Customer Service.

Qualifications:

• 4-5 yrs of Industry related or equivalent experience required
• A valid California Driver’s License
• Reliable way to be contacted
• Excellent listening skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of basic computer software programs
• Must be proficient in all aspects of Installation & Service
• You will be a working Manager, wear your tool bags and install as needed
• Responsible for reviewing all jobs before Installation with Production Mngr. & Installers
• Assign Lead Installer & installers to jobs
• Review jobs with installers before they leave the shop
• Responsible for All customer service related issues (calling customers in a timely manner)
• Responsible for Maintaining clean and organized work vehicles
• Responsible for routine equipment & vehicle maintenance or scheduling outside maintenance
• Responsible for job training of new Install personnel. On-going training as needed.
• Training and sign off installation personnel on equipment & cutting tools
• Responsible for vehicle and jobsite safety

Responsibilities:

• Calling customers to confirm daily installation or Service with an emphasis on Service
• Daily morning meetings with Production Manager, Shop Foreman
• Daily morning meetings with installers to review previous days install and new install
• Assist in all depts. of shop and installation as needed
• Vehicle & Job Site Inspections
• Maintain vehicle, equipment & personnel training logs

Time Commitments and Accuracy Expectations

• Each daily task to be completed by end of day. If a special effort is necessary to stay on track, then that effort goes along with the expectation.
• Quality, accuracy, and efficiency are of highest importance. All jobs are expected to be completed on time and meet Inspired Closets quality standards. A special emphasis should be given to repairs or service. Daily communication with the Production Manager & Shop Forman needs to take place with special attention given to repairs and any potential problems which may come up on a job.
