Kaela Maxwell

Director of Operations

Kaela started her career in early childhood special education while helping with the family business in her free time. As Inspired Closets by Maxwells has expanded over the past few years, Kaela’s passion for guiding and assisting each of our clients has continued to grow. She has since left teaching to work side-by-side with her husband and father-in-law. Her excellent leadership skills paired with a passion for providing the best possible customer experience have led her to the position of Director of Operations at Inspired Closets Austin- San Antonio.

When asked, “What inspires you?” Kaela tells us she is inspired by the team that she works with. "From installers to office staff and warehouse crew to designers, each one of our team members is kind, hardworking, and passionate and will do anything in their power to turn a stressful space into an oasis for our clients. The look of relief when our clients walk into their newly inspired space is the best part." Kaela is also passionate about being a mom and raising the 3rd generation of Maxwells to hopefully carry on the family business someday.

Alyssa Jordan

Director of Sales

With over 15 years of experience in sales coupled with a love of organization, Alyssa's career at Inspired Closets started as a designer. After almost two years in her role, Alyssa’s passion for developing strategic partnerships and helping others led to her new role as Director of Sales. Alyssa is excited to use her passion and experience to grow and nurture relationships with the design team and customer base.

When asked, "What inspires you?" Alyssa tells us that she loves adding value to people's lives. Whether it’s a co-worker or a client of Inspired Closets, her goal is to leave a lasting, positive impression that brightens their day. When she’s not designing, Alyssa enjoys organizing, spending time with her family, and staying active.

Joann Wilmeth

Senior Designer

For 20 years, Joann has been transforming spaces with a unique flair and talent for custom design. She has a knack for problem solving and designing creative solutions that bring harmony to the most complicated situations. When working with clients, Joann is known for her collaborative style that allows her to truly bring her clients’ visions to life.

When asked, “What inspires you?” Joann will tell you that she finds excitement in challenging situations where she can put her expertise to the test. Joann’s clients love her fun and relaxed personality, but they especially love her attention to detail, great listening skills, and follow-through. A native to San Antonio, Joann’s hobbies include decorating, traveling with friends, and RVing.

Krista Crain

Designer

Krista joins our team with an extensive background in the hospitality industry where she crafted amazing listening and problem-solving skills that eventually led her to a designer role at Inspired Closets. With a passion for space planning and organizational design, Krista brings excitement and positive energy to each and every one of her projects.

When asked, “What inspires you?” Krista tells us that she loves witnessing a client’s vision come to life through designs and the satisfaction of a job well done. In her spare time, Krista enjoys tending to her garden while listening to the latest true crime podcast or audiobook.

Debra Reece

Designer

Debra loves bringing beauty, organization, and joy to homes everywhere! As an entrepreneur and former home remodeler, Debra has the experience needed to create beautiful and functional homes, one closet at a time. Debra's mission is to make your closet a reflection of your own unique style and to find the calm in the chaos.

When asked, “What inspires you?” Debra tells us she is inspired by the look of joy and excitement on her clients’ faces when they realize all the possibilities for what organization can bring to their lives. When she’s not transforming spaces, Debra enjoys taking her paddle board to the lake, golfing with her husband Kurt, and spending time with their dog, Hannah.

Gaby Melendez

Designer

Gaby’s journey into interior design was sparked by a fascination with the harmonious blend of aesthetics and functionality that defines a well-designed space. She pursued an education in interior design, equipping herself with the knowledge and skills needed to bring your dream spaces to life. Fluent in both Spanish and English, Gaby strives to ensure seamless communication and understanding throughout the design process, ensuring that every detail is tailored to your preferences and needs.

When asked, “What inspires you?” Gaby says she is inspired by being part of an incredible team that’s dedicated to transforming spaces into personalized sanctuaries. With a deep-rooted passion for interior decorating and a keen eye for home design, she is committed to making people’s visions a reality.

Faith Williams

Showroom Coordinator/Client Liaison

As a former administrative assistant for Allen and Withrow, Faith moved from Arkansas to Texas to shift her career from law to space utilization and step into the custom closet design arena. Combining her love for people with her talent for working hard, Faith now has the privilege of helping San Antonians connect with amazing designers to improve the spaces in their homes.

When asked, "What inspires you?" Faith tells us she finds it rewarding to see others happy and smiling. In her spare time, Faith enjoys being with her loved ones and playing video games.

During the design process, Inspired Closets helped me come up with the designs for the closet that we needed to help organize our life.
