Our Process
Working with us is easy...
and a whole lot of fun.
1. Consult
Together we will talk about:
- How you use your closet
- What you own
- What works and what doesn’t in your closet
- What look and feel most inspires you
2. Design
Together we’ll create a design customized to your needs. We will:
- Show you designs that connect back to your needs and wants
- Provide recommendations on layout, color, and finishes
- Share material and hardware samples
- Create a 3D rendering of your custom closet
3. Prepare
We respect your to-do list. Preparation takes time and can feel daunting. We get it, and we’re here to help. Ask us about:
- Garment racks that make it easy to access your belongings during installation.
- How we can help with the removal of your existing closet system and preparing your walls for installation
Let’s talk about what you need, and create a plan that works for you.
4. Install
Excitement builds on installation day. Our build team will:
- Arrive on time and ready to transform your closet
- Efficiently get the job done
- Leave your home as clean as it was when they arrived
5. Love your closet!
You will absolutely love your new custom closet. Need we say more?
Custom Closet Design and Installation Process
The process of having a custom closet designed and installed in your San Francisco area home is simple. Our team works hand-in-hand with you through the four steps — consult, design, prepare, install. In the end, you’ll have a beautiful, functional custom closet that makes organization effortless.
We always begin the process with a one-on-one consultation, because we want to understand your family’s wants and needs. We ask questions about how you use your space and your frustrations with it. Our closet designers are experienced and talented, and we know exactly what to ask so we can create a custom closet tailor-made for you. We make design recommendations that are consistent with your wants and needs, for colors and hardware that match your existing home decor and fit your budget. Check out our Idea Gallery to see our previous projects. If you change your mind about the design, we are patient while making adjustments. We want you to be completely satisfied with your custom closet design.
One of our favorite parts of the custom closet process is when we create a 3D rendering of the custom closet. The rendering allows our clients to see how their closet design will look in their San Francisco home before we begin installation. Once you approve of the design, our closet installers get to work. They arrive at your San Francisco home at a time that is convenient to you, removing your existing closet and preparing the space installation. The closet installation for San Francisco area homes usually takes one or two days. When we finish, our clients often remark that it looks exactly like the 3D rendering and that they couldn’t be happier. Read about their experiences here.
